Our Aim
Here at HopShopper we are excited by the rapid growth and potential benefits of mobile technologies for consumers and retailers.
We aim for the HopShopper mobile application to be the consumers’ first choice in managing loyalty memberships, finding special offers and browsing retail shops via their mobile phone. We aim to provide retailers with an effective, measurable and immediate communication channel with nearby consumers and loyalty customers.
The Company
The HopShopper concept began as a team project during the 2009 Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance (MEGA) Entrepreneurship Master-class Series in Sydney.
With intentions to commercialise the HopShopper iPhone application, founders Daniel and Marko continue to build the HopShopper brand and services within the Australian food, retail and entertainment market.
Management Team
Daniel, Sales and Marketing – 9 years experience in sales and marketing management roles within the IT sector representing brands including Intel, Hewlett Packard and Cisco.
Marko, Product Development and Operations – 12 years experience in managing large development teams delivering mobile, digital and enterprise software projects for large clients including AIG, Aviva and The Hilton. In 2003, Marko founded a software company focused on emerging mobile technologies and in 2007 he founded a dating recommendation site.
Virgilio, Senior Developer – over 6 years of experience in developing and managing multi-platform IT projects. Virgilio has extensive experience in developing and researching everything from web interfaces to complex math algorithms. Since the release of the iPhone, Virgilio has been developing applications for this platform and is our resident iPhone guru.
